Windsor Agriculture Society
The Windsor Agricultural Society owns and operates Hants County Exhibition Park for the primary purpose of hosting seasonal community events as well as an annual agricultural exhibition that is 260 years young and attracts upwards of 30,000 people!
The society strives to provide a dynamic and engaging space for community to come together and celebrate, not only the historical significance of the oldest agricultural fair in North America, but also the rural life, farming heritage, and the connection between communities and the land.
The events hosted at the fairgrounds bring together farmers, artisans, families, and the general public, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared identity in rural and urban areas alike.
Some of the main goals of the Hants County Exhibition are to highlight animal husbandry, to showcase thrilling competitions and to educate people about where their food comes from, the challenges faced by farmers, and advancements in sustainable farming and technology.
Mission
The Windsor Agricultural Society, through the Hants County Exhibition Fairgrounds, strives to provide a space for all to enjoy- where our rural roots and agricultural heritage are showcased, where memories and friends are made and where the oldest agricultural fair in North America is celebrated.
Vision
Agriculture is integral to life and we are passionate about advancing and celebrating it by delivering memorable experiences to guests, investing in the social fabric of our community and leveraging the site as a defined gateway to the Annapolis Valley. By partnering with organizations and government, the Hants County Exhibition Fairgrounds can be a year-round amenity allowing for a sustainable economic future.
